Windsor Spitfires captain Mickey Renaud dead at 19
Mickey Renaud, captain of the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League, died suddenly on Monday. Renaud, a native of Tecumseh, Ont., was 19 years old.
Dr. Roy Diklich, the team physician, said in a statement that Renaud “suddenly collapsed at his Tecumseh home and was transported to Windsor Regional Hospital with absent vital signs. All attempts were made at resuscitation and were unsuccessful at the emergency room.”
